Terms of Participation & Safety – Pure Kefalonia Agritourism Activities

Our goal is to provide a safe, enjoyable, and authentic experience in nature.
By participating in our activities, you agree to carefully read and accept the following terms and conditions.
Article 1 – Natural Environment Risks & Limitation of Liability
Activities take place in a natural environment, where circumstances may arise that cannot be fully predicted or prevented, such as falls, slipping or loss of balance, dizziness, discomfort, or fatigue due to temperature, weather conditions, or intensity of the activity. Insect bites, contact with animals, or minor injuries from natural obstacles (rocks, plants, branches, etc.).
The participant understands that the company is not responsible for incidents due to:
•The natural state of the environment.
• Carelessness or negligence on the part of the participant.
•Unpredictable natural conditions.
Article 2 – Health & Ability to Participate
Participation is at the participant’s own risk.
The participant must inform the staff of: Allergies, intolerances, medical restrictions or chronic conditions, or any factor that affects their safety. Failure to provide accurate information exempts the company from any related liability.
Article 3 – Clothing & Equipment
Participants must comply with the clothing and equipment guidelines provided by the company.
The company is not responsible for injuries or discomfort resulting from inappropriate clothing or equipment.
Article 4 – Safety Instructions & Use of Tools
Participants must follow the instructions of the staff in all activities.
The company is not liable for injuries resulting from incorrect or careless use of tools.
Article 5 – Food & Beverages
Food and meals are either standardised from food stores or cooked by catering establishments.
Consumption is at the participant’s own risk. The company is not responsible for allergic reactions or complications arising from either the participants’ own preparation or third-party products.
Article 6 – Participation of Minors
Minors may only participate under the constant supervision of a parent or guardian, who bears full responsibility for their safety and behavior. The company is not responsible for any incidents involving unsupervised minors.
Article 7 – Adults Requiring Assistance
Adults requiring assistance may only participate with a responsible companion who assumes full responsibility for their safety and supervision.
Article 8 – Weather Conditions
The company reserves the right to modify, postpone, or cancel activities due to weather conditions or other unforeseen factors, without any obligation to provide compensation.
Article 9 – Pets
Pets are only allowed under certain health and safety conditions. The owner is fully responsible for any injuries sustained by or to the pet or any damage caused.
Article 10 – Restricted Access Areas
Participants may only move around in permitted areas. Entry into warehouses, animal areas, or third-party properties without permission is prohibited. Behavior towards the environment and animals must be respectful and responsible.
Article 11 – Behavior towards Animals & the Environment
Contact with animals is only permitted under the guidance of staff. Feeding or actions that cause stress or injury are prohibited. Animals may behave unpredictably. The participant is responsible for any incidents.
Article 12 – Damage to Equipment or Facilities
The participant is liable for damage resulting from negligence or misuse of equipment/premises. The company may impose a charge for repairing damage.
Article 13 – Smoking & Fire Safety Rules
Smoking is only permitted in designated areas. It is prohibited near animals, dry plants, storage areas, or flammable materials. The use of open flames in high-risk areas is strictly prohibited.
Participants assume full responsibility for any damage or accidents resulting from violation of the rules. The company reserves the right to remove or restrict participants who do not comply with the fire safety rules.
Article 14 – Consumption of Alcohol or Substances
Participation is prohibited for individuals under the influence of alcohol or substances. The company is not responsible for accidents or damage due to the use of substances/alcohol. Staff may refuse or interrupt the participation of individuals under the influence. The participant acknowledges that compliance with the above is solely their responsibility.
Article 15 – Photos & Videos
During activities, photos or videos may be taken for promotional purposes. Participants consent to the use of this material unless they state otherwise in writing.
The company is not responsible for the use of the material by third parties other than the expressly agreed use.
Article 16 – Personal Data (GDPR)
Only personal data necessary for the activities is collected. Processing is carried out in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation. No data is disclosed to third parties without explicit consent, unless required by law. Participants have the right to access, correct, or delete their data.
Article 17 – Emergency Medical Care
The participant consents to the provision of first aid or emergency medical care. Consent applies only to actions that are absolutely necessary to ensure life, health, and safety. The participant must provide timely information about allergies or medical conditions. The company is not responsible for complications arising from undeclared or pre-existing health conditions.
Article 18 – External Partners
Pure Kefalonia works with external providers such as transport companies, vehicle rental companies, food suppliers, and chemical toilet companies when needed.
These partners operate as independent businesses and the company is not responsible for their services, equipment, or any incidents arising from their use.
The participant acknowledges that any transportation, consumption of products, or use of third-party infrastructure is at their own risk.
The provision of information or communication facilitation by the company does not constitute a recommendation or guarantee of the services of its partners.
Acceptance of Terms
1. By participating, the participant declares that they have read, understood, and accepted all terms.
2. Participation is legally valid only after signing the declaration of acceptance.
3. The participant acknowledges that acceptance of the terms and conditions is a prerequisite for participation.
4. The company reserves the right to refuse or terminate the participation of individuals who do not sign or comply with the terms and conditions.
